Have you got over your first love?

Saturday, November 28th, 2009

Holding_handsSeems love is in the air, as lots of newspapers and magazines are looking for stories about relationships this week.

A Sunday tabloid supplement wants to know if you’re a woman in her twenties who finally got over her first love.  A lot of people take a long time to do this, but they’re looking for someone who managed to get past that first romantic hurdle and is now happy with their partner.

On a saucier note, a weekly women’s magazine is looking for couples under 40 who have done ‘unusual’ things to spice up their love life. Need we say more … ?

And finally, a Sunday newspaper is looking to interview a polygamous family for a real-life feature to tie in with the law change.

If you think you might fit the bill or know someone who does, call Angela or John on 0161 660 9404 or email info@sellthatstory.com

The little girl who can’t cry

Wednesday, November 25th, 2009

Love-It-24-November-2009Little Tianna McHugh is the girl who can’t cry.

Her story touched hearts around the world, in newspapers, magazines, on TV and this week, in Love It!

Mum and dad have to make sure the two-year-old from Wrexham doesn’t burst into tears – and suffer a potentially fatal reflex anoxic seizure.

Other children have the condition and respond to shock or pain, but Tianna has such a severe form that simply crying can trigger a seizure. Doctors hope she may grow out of it.

Tianna’s parents are delighted at the media coverage she’s received, because it highlights a little-known medical condition.

If the question’s “How do I sell my story?” then the answer’s just a click away.

Perhaps you or someone in your family has a very rare or serious medical condition.  Call Angela or John on 0161 660 9404 or email info@sellthatstory.com and we’ll tell you how about how you can sell that story and attract the widest possible coverage.

If 2009 has been a great year then a women’s weekly magazine want to hear from you. You’d need to be available for a photo shoot before December 4th and have to be aged 19-35.
