Same name as an England star?

SHARE a name with an England footy star?

A tabloid newspaper is looking for any Wayne Rooneys, Frank Lampards or other current member of the national squad.

If you are one, or if you know one, email info@sellthatstory.com

Also, a women’s magazine is looking for a woman whose marriage ended  – after she became more successful then her husband.

Maybe he had an affair to boost his ego after she got a promotion or pay rise, or her career success made him insecure.

Again, email info@sellthatstory.com

illicitCan an affair help a marriage?

Or will it inevitably end in disaster?  Radio 4′s Woman’s Hour looks at one website which helps people who are looking for an affair to find sex locally.

A couple speak openly about how the wife’s affair – begun after 13 years of marriage - actually strengthened their relationship.

But Angela, appearing on the programme, says that “industrialising” the process of infidelity is morally reprehensible. “It’s playing Russian roulette with your marriage,” she says.

All you need is love

sell-that-story-pick-me-up

There are a couple of great  heart-warming stories in this week’s women’s magazines.  They’re about people who’ll do literally anything for those they love.

First up is Pete Winters, who gave his partner Pat the best gift imaginable – a kidney! The couple tell their story in this week’s Pick Me Up (12 November) or click here to read it and see pictures.

Pat was on dialysis. Pete insisted he’d manage with one kidney and give her the other.  She returned the favour with a Leap Day marriage proposal.

Then there’s the remarkable story of Jaci Dalenberg who, aged 56, gave birth to her own grandchildren – triplets!

This week’s Real People (12 November) tells how her daughter Kim couldn’t have children because of a hysterectomy, so she got doctors to “turn back the clock” and offered herself as a surrogate.

So she’s not just mum to little Gabriella Claire, Carmina Ann and Elizabeth Jacilyn. She’s also their grandma.

These are both stories to inspire.  Maybe something’s happened to you that would give others that same sense of  “all you need is love”. Something remarkable, something heart-warming.
